I have a 2007 9-3 Sedan 2.0 with 100K miles on it. I had a failure of the power steering high pressure line while pulling out of a drive and within an a few miles it had blown all the fluid out.
The high pressure hose is very long and convoluted. I was crawling around under the car look at it and wow.
Has anyone replaced one of these on a 2006 or 2007 9-3? What kind of tips or advice can you give me. I consider myself a pretty advanced non-pro mechanic, is this a job I should tackle or take to a pro?
If I have to take to my Saab shop, would it be safe to drive without fluid to the mechanic?
Thanks
Davcam
