Those Nivomats are pricy! I ended up replacing them with Bilsteins and a different spring on my 2010 9-3 XWD with 2.0T which was half the cost of a pair of the Nivomats. The self leveling Nivomat uses a softer spring so if you put a standard shock absorber on the car the rear will sag.
There is a Saab parts supplier in the USA that sells a conversion kit but it doesn’t look like they are a Saabnet sponsor so am reluctant to post a link.
