Oil In Spark Plug Well

Sure is quiet on here!
Car is a 2005 9-3SS Arc 210K pretty much trouble free miles on the car.
Changing the plugs I found some oil in the #3 plug well. Dark oil, so not a filling spill. I had an intermittent miss on starting when leaving the car parked for a week or two. The oil did not seem to be far up enough to cover the insulator. I went with the Platinum OEM plugs to replace the Iridiums that had been there for a while. Did not to compressions as I hate bad news! Car seems to run ok and the electrodes look fine. Hopefully a tired plug. No coolant loss. I did not bother hooking up the tech2 as the miss is only for a few seconds and does not trigger a CEL. Will go back to all that if it persists.
Obviously time for a valve cover gasket set. I resisted the temptation to tighten the bolt by the #3 plug.
Are there any special things to watch out for doing the change, besides cleaning it up and torque correctly? It does not look like it wants sealant over the Vacuum/PS pump shafts and looks like a very easy job.
