I have an appointment for my 1st oil change next week at around 7,500 miles. I will have the SID left as is so I can get the normal Saab-covered change at around 15,000 and thereafter I plan to follow the Saab specified maintenace schedule according to the SID. I wanted to get this oil change in now due to the new engine break-in residue in the oil. I also am going to get the tires rotated, as it seems the Pirellis aren't lasting as long as expected without the rotation.
