I don't like the amount of bearing metals in the 14,800 sample.
The chromium will be the compression rings.
The iron is high, but in a normal sort of way. Some will be in the filter, some settled here and there and the very fine will be detected in this type of analysis. Larger bits than the analysis can detect will be small enough to go through the filter. The amound of iron is not representative of the total amount of iron wear, but it is suggestive.
11 copper
12 lead
6 tin
This is where I get paranoid about the iron and steel wear metals causing wear of journal bearings. Yes I know its the first oil and there will be more stuff, but all the reason to get it out in a green engine with a few early oil changes. As many of you know, I use a super magnet drain plug. It has a magnetic mud on it every time, not much, but it is still there, not circulating in the oil and through the filter and through the bearings over and over again.
