Some thoughts on my dealer

I'm waiting for another dealer visit soon. I have no doubt to their ability to maintain Saabs, but one thing that annoys me is they are so stubborn with their faith how Saab is built in the best possible way to drivers.
I haven't been happy about the very short remote distance, and I found from another Saab mechanic here that there was a service bulletin that can improve the remote distance by simply replacing a better receptor antaena inside the car, which BTW comes with all newer models he added. When I complained to my dealer about it, they are simply telling me it's a safety feature so I accidentally don't open far away.
Another example is the one-press-unlock-all option. Also, most useless default light control I've ever seen in a car. I know these can all be safety features and I really appreciate lots of other safety features, but I sometimes really run into problems with some of those lower priority safety features invading my comfort and pleasure of driving.
I know I'm asking for something that most Saab owners don't, but little things make the experience much more enjoyable. I'm quite discouraged to ask my dealer about little things to personalize my car as My Car. Am I asking too much here? Is the dealer really trying to care about me or just giving me excuses for less work?
BTW, I intensely love my Viggen! From how it looks to how it drives. I WOULD probably marry girl just like it! ;-)
