Things I thought about since but don't know the answer to:
1) Spare tire - is there one on-board, or do you need to specify the tires like Pirelli - that can run flat until you get to service?
2) Rain: My current car has only 2-speed wipers - which is a drag. Like the adjustable speed (dial it in) and wonder whether the "rain sensing..." stuff together with the 6-cd changer is really worth it?
3) On-Star - photo shows it like its navigation (maps) but I thought it was combo of hands-free calling and service center calls. Note in the brochure says its analog and may not work after 2008 when everyone goes to digital on 3G. Go for it? or bag it and get a hands free Verizon (name your vendor of choice) cell phone?
4) Winter tires - seems to be a lot of debate how to do this. Sounds like getting 4 rims and 4 extra tires, put them on for November through March. Few places let you have "spikes", so we're just talking knobby tires? What's the drill here? Sounds like 16-inch tires are the way to go and 17-inch ain't the thing.
Thanks for the help so far, hope these Q's aren't over the edge.
