Hi. I was wondering if I can ask some of the
folks here about chipping the new 9-3SS. As I can
see that there are some folks who works in the
dealerships from the sales, parts dept. to the service department.
I'd like to find out if the service department has a way
of finding out if the ecu/computer have been messed with or flashed
with new settings/software. I guess they could but do they normally
check the date/time stamp on this computer when they do service.
I guess the beauty of the PPC upgrade is that you can revert back to the old factory settings BUT can the dealer find out if it was switched back
to the original values (ie. say same day it was going to the dealer.)..
I guess PPC won't won't even bother having the old factory settings in there if the dealer can trace it right?
Thanks.
