I replaced the OEM pads on my 03 Arc with the Mintex Red box. I also used these pads before on my VW's. Well I installed the OEM pads back on within a month. The Mintex pads don't have anti-squeal padding on the backside of the pad. They squeaked more then the OEM pads did.
What I read about the RBC Greenstuff pads, is that if you don't use EBC rotors. Their pads will warp the OEM rotors in no time. EBC pads are made out of kevlar. So they heat up more then a normal brake pad.
I just use Nu Finish polymer wax on my wheels. The brake dust just wipes right off.
