I haven't noticed, but I'll try it out on mine. By the by, why do you need to go to recirculate on the highway? My understanding is one would use that setting for max cooling(getting in a hot car, or keeping it cool without overheating the engine at stop and go traffic) or max heat (when first starting up the car on a cold morning). Highway speeds would counterbalance those items. It reminds me of the guy who goes to the doctor and while twisting his hand upside down behind his back says "Doc, my elbow hurts whether I do this" to which the doctor relies "then don't do that".
