on my installation i have the small saab mount (as can be seen in the saab catalog ) . i attached the motorola cradle to the saab mount using the articulating pieces from the old generic saab cradle. this required drilling four small holes in the saab mount. i mounted the speaker in the paasenger footwell under the glovebox tight against the firewall, it probably does recive a kick or two but seems to be doing just fine. my only concern with hiding it higher up is a potential loss of volume as at times i wish it was a bit louder.someday i might find the proper pins to connect the speaker out to the head unit which would allow volume adjustment through the head unit.hope this helps let me know if you need some clarification.
