A little cheaper than new....... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: ARC lease transfer, a good deal?, drew, Mon, 19 Jul 2004 18:09:46 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Or maybe not. I have a sunroof, automatic, steel gray Arc that would be less than $400 with nothing down MRSP $33,810. The car your considering has the touring, sport, xenons and park assist, almost $3k worth of toys.
So to clarify, does the $418 include tax? And when I quoted the lease above it didn't include the tax, the lease payment is taxed, and when I say "nothing down" on a lease, that still has first, acq, lic, doc for a total of $1,303 in drive offs here in SoCal. So is your seller letting you into this lease for zippo? Who's paying the $500 transfer fee?
Seems to me to be a decent deal for a more well equipped car with truely nothing down, and a large mileage allowance.
So an inexpensive new one would be right around there too. Or a new 9-3 well equipped Linear might be even less.
Or here's a left term, how 'bout a new 9-5 Arc for less than $380? Saab has killer leases on the 9-5.
If you qualify to take over a lease you likely qualify for a new one too.
