Looking to purchase a used 2003 9-3 Linear. I'm arranging to have a SAAB dealer inspection completed prior to purchase. However, when I asked the dealer to run the VIN for me, this is what was included (after a the initial pre-delivery inspection stuff).
In-service date is Jan 13, 2003, 11K Km.
06/13/2003 N6646 - WIRING AND/OR CONNECTOR - SUNROOF/CONVERTIBLES - REPAIR OR 8972 Kilometres
04/10/2003 V1014 - 03022-REPLACE AXLE SHAFTS 6415 Kilometres
01/24/2003 H2498 - PUMP AND MOTOR ASSY, (ABS) - REPLACE 1225 Kilometres
Can someone help me interpret whether these are normal, or should I be concerned by the early replacement of such items. To be honest, I'm not really even sure what they refer to.
Were there any warranty items for the 2003 9-3 that I should get the SAAB dealer to do, or look out for in particular? I have heard some mention in earlier threads about updates to the computer. How can you tell if these have all been done?
Thanks for your insights. I am buying this car at a distance, and want to be sure I check whatever I can before travelling to pick it up.
