LOL - sounds good though doesn't it!......... The single rear foglight is the European standard, the single light indicating which side faster traffic should pass on. I suppose in the UK they enable the right fog light only. The single rear light is somewhat confusing during the day or night in good visibility conditions, stuck brake light, burnt out taillight, short, turning or stopping, who know's, so that's the reasons there's a yellow warning light on the dash to let you know when it's on so you don't leave it on by mistake. Check your Volvo and Audi again, only one light *should* be enabled, there are always places for two, but only one should be working. I only seen Jags with both fog lights enabled.
Follow me home is something else entirely! I'm still chuckling! Follow me home is a Saab feature whereby if you flash the brights with the drivers door open the headlights stay on for an addtional 30 seconds. Normally all the headlights and such go out when you remove the key in a Saab. This allows you to leave your lights of for a convienent 30 seconds to navigate your way in dark places after you removed the key from the car.
I'm laughing, but I confused things worse myself.
