Are you retailing and/or fabricating these? If so do you have a url you can direct me to. I also agree that improved handling will minize collisions due to driver negligence or vehicle performance deficits but proving mechanical causation in a high speed auto fatality is seldom as easy as the non-lawyers tend to think it is. Usually, multiple factors are at play from driver inattention, excessive speed, non-use of seat belts and the auto design itself is not guaranteed to protect occupants.
If any of us are involved in a head-on at 75MPH with an object of equal of greater mass, the chances of survival are really not all that good.
As for crumple zones, the subframe brace is unlikely to compromise the shearing of the engine bay in a collision but it might permit the drive to avoid a collision or two. Its a risk calculus-improved handling vs getting hit a by dump truck head on at dead stop-what are the odds better handling is worth more to you then a small reduction in crumple zone design. Moreover, it is unknown whether the sub frame brace improbed or detracts from crumple zone performance.
