I think that these have the highest traction of any snow tire. I have driven with two sets of these in the past. They can be very squirmy on dry pavement. Too much tread block movement for some folks. Certainly not a performance tire, quite the opposite. Tire rack has some comparo data, but for ice. Don't know where you would get snow and pack snow data. I found them great on ice and snow. Alpins are a good alternative if you want to preserve some dray pavement handling.

I don't know enough about Hakka to comment.

We have a steep concrete driveway and get ice storms almost every year and snow. We do not shovel the drive, we just let the snow tires deal with it. Heavy accumulation and build up is not an issue as there are frequent thaws in KS. With 70mpg speed limits, good tires are important to survive on the interstate. Many problems with folks who lack winter driving skills and most folks are on bogus and worn tires. So accident avoidance is important and having better tires gives one control when others are not.
