Of course you should....... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Sat, 2 Oct 2004 15:24:45 In Reply to: '01 Convertible Viggen-Should we buy it?, Anne, Sat, 2 Oct 2004 14:33:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
You mentioned a warranty, but is it the Saab Certified warranty? And is it at a Saab dealer? I'd feel much better for you if it was Saab CPO which are only sold at a Saab dealer who knows the cars.
Check the rims, Viggen wheels are soft and bend and scratch easily, and check the front spoiler, for that kinda' dough it should be freshly touched up or painted although it will scratch again soon enough.
Not a terrible price especially if it's Saab CPO, but you might try a little haggling. If it's the right color for you, CPO, and perfect you might not haggle much at all, but it never hurts to try. Negotiations can be very friendly, and if they're not, let that reflect on your dealer and their future service to you.
One hoot of a car, a Viggen Vert is a ton of smiles. All it needs is a windblocker. The convertible windscreen is around $500 and you'll need installation in 2001, at least make 'em throw it in.
