See the link, they fix things like this.

You can check to see if the unit has its own fuse, might be inside

From its output connector, you can check for continity thru the door speakers via pins 1&2 and 3&4. Measure ohms or listen for noise when doing intermittent connections to a 1.5V battery or 9V battery.

This bass amp gets power from the in-dash fuse box fuse #25 - the first thing that you should check. This power comes to the amp on pin 2, heavy red wire, of its power input connector. Pin #1 is ground, black heavy wire, check that too.

DIN connecter pin # 8 makes the amp turn itself on. I would check that this connector is properly seated at the amp and head end. Din connector supplies 4 audio connections, amp only uses two of these. L&R channels plus fade front and fade rear I assume. Pin #65 is mute control.

DIN:
1 left rear not used
2 signal ground and cable shield
3 left front used
4 right rear not used
5 right front used
6 mute control used
7 no connection
8 trigger voltage used
V
6 7
1 8 3
4 2
5

This suggests that if speakers are fully faded to the rear, the subs are not expected to work at all. So try fully faded to the front before anything else. Balance control centered?

Speakers are about 3.2 ohms.

So check balance and fade
check fuse #25
check DIN plug seating at amp
check connectors seated at radio head
check for power to amp - should be hot all of the time
check for ground to amp
check door speaker resistance from amp connector
check for trigger voltage on DIN pin 8

if no connector to speakers, there are connectors at the doors

if you short pin 8 to another with a probe, could be damage!!!!

when powered up for a long time, does amp get hot?
