Look for full boost when accelerating. Mine goes 2/3 in yellow but no more. This is argued to be normal but at times it doesn't feel consistant. My advise is to make sure it has good boost. This shouldn't make or break a deal...but you may need to replace some valve$.

Look to see if it has new(er) brakes/rotors. These are very expensive and at 50k it may have new...or will be needing some soon. Parts only for the front are around $350.

Paper work with a car is always nice. The DI cassettes tend to go on these cars... at any time. If it has a new one thats great. But it would be nice to know. The SID(SAAB Info Display) was a common failure as well. Bent rims are also very common.

Get to know the history of the car if you can... and let the condition speak for itself.
