Certified pre-owned is the way go. It can save you in the long run. If you decide to buy a car from a private seller make sure you get service records and there was no accidents. It is hard to find a stndard shift car because there was not many available. The auto if fun to drive with sport mode. The 2000 and 2001 both come with full leather. The 2002 has full leather and leather with cloth. In 2002 they only made the SE and not the regular 9-3. Both 2000 and 2001 have HO turbo. If you are in cold weather then the cold weather package is good with both front and rear heated seats. I have a 2000 9-3 SE Auto and the sport mode is fun and it accelerates fairly fast. You can find everything on this board and ask as many questions as you like. Good luck with your purchase.
