The problem is the tires, not the car..... A female co-worker has a 9-3SS Aero and is very unhappy with the OEM tires. Her complaints include; non-existant snow traction, rapid tire wear, and high replacement cost. She also is leasing the car and is reluctant to purchase dedicated snows for a vehicle she knows she will be turning in someday.
My suggestion to her was to try Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S as year round tires. These have recieved favorable comments regarding all her complaints with the OEM Pirellis that Saab installs on the Aero. As a repeat Saab customer you probably aren't as reluctant to purchase dedicated snows for your Aero (they will probably fit any future Saab you buy or lease). Dedicated snows are the best way to go if you live in the snow belt. And yes, you need them on all four wheels.
