The ECU might be having trouble with the lower octane. Worn plugs can make the engine need more octane and confuse the DI. Fouled injectors can create poor mixtures. Combustion chamber deposits can form hot spots that act like glow plugs. This increases the octane demand of the engine. If you clean things with Techron Concentrate, it can deal with the last two items. But your problem could be one of several things.
Check your plugs and regap or replace. If very dark, replace. Checking the plugs should always be your ist course of action, even before you post here. You read the deposits and see if anthing unusual is going on. The T7 can throw CELs for problems that are strictly from plugs. And there can be CELs for random missed firings detected by the DI, that can be from plugs or DI faults.
Use the Techron if not used in the last few months. If the higher octane helps, perhaps these maintenance items will help. Autozone may read your codes for free, phone. If you get them, write them down. The interpretation of the numbers may be Saab specific and the info provided for those numbers may not be right.
Check the VAC lines around the TB, including to the BPV.
