Picked up a 'short belt' at Advance Autoparts. Asked for a 2415mm poly belt and got a Dayco belt (5060950), made in Canada eh! As it cross references to MB applications they have to charge a lot, so it was $35.88US + tax. Belt also shows 6PK2415 on the package. The belt is a 'poly cog' belt where the ribs are knotched which controls cracking of the ribs, which is mostly cosmetic and does not effect the service life of the belt.
And from google:
"The last digits in most manufactures part numbers is the length of the belt. ie a Dayco belt # 5060950 breaks down like this 5 is the series, 06 is the number of ribs, and 0950 is 95" long. I know Goodyear is the same except their series is 4 (ie 4060950)"
$32.95 at germanparts.com (300SEL/300E 4 CYL - 2.6 L, 300E/CE/SE 6 CYL - 3.0 L, E320 -95)
