Right, it's 'room to grow'. My every-option 99 LPT only has the fogs, no TCS or Onstar or anything else. (My 86 Jetta had 8 slots, max of 5 were ever filled from the factory.)
If you look thru the options on saab.co.uk or saab.com.au you might catch a shot of the leveling switch. Looks like a seat heater switch, it goes under the foglight switch. Saab does (or did) sell a switch with a single red light on it for aux lights. But I think that's it, most of the rest of the newer options work thru the SID, or transparently.
Globally, there's a couple bizarre options, but none that seem to have extra buttons...two that you don't see in the US:
- Cabin heater (diesel-only, basically a tiny furnace), runs thru SID
- Power folding side mirrors (takes over 'tilt down' button I think)
