The main difference seems to be that the Saab unit includes (especially on the wagon, which is the one I know for sure) reinforcement of the bumper to frame attachment. The center portion is similar, if not identical. I had previously installed a Saab hitch on a 9000, and it was a completely different animal from the one for the 9-5. And the wiring kit that came with the Saab hitch says "Draw Tite". And no, there's no cutting to install the Saab hitch on an Aero Wagon. Well, no cutting on the bumper cover. Drilling on some brackets, and drilling out a mounting blank...
