Don't count on much sympathy from Saab USA.

I had a problem while driving my car Thursday night of last week. Here's a link to my post about it.

I drove my car into the Saab dealership in New Orleans. The dealer told me it would be FOUR WEEKS before they could take a look at my car. I called Saab USA to complain. The Saab rep agreed with me that this was indeed too long to wait.

The Saab rep was not so sympathetic when I called her back today. She had spoken to the manager at the dealership. She said that the one and only Saab tech at the dealership was away for training for TWO WEEKS. Work is now piled up and that was just the way it was. I told her that the Saab dealer in Baton Rouge could take me in tomorrow. I remarked how could the New Orleans rep be so booked when the Baton Rouge rep was not. She just replied that New Orleans has a much higher population than Baton Rouge and therefore has more Saab drivers. GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Population has nothing to do with the number of SAAB owners. She is assuming that the percentage of Saab owners is the SAME in every city. I don't see too many Saabs on the streets of New Orleans.
