Engine Warning Light Mystery

My '99 SE V6 Engine Warning light won't go out. Initially Saab tech said rear DI cassette misfire(P0300, P1300 codes). Replaced w/ used Goldwing DIC and put in non-NGK plugs. Ligth still on. Tech then said MUST use NGK. Replaced plugs again. Light still on. Yesterday tech had for 3 hours: replaced plugs again (anti-seize was arcing), downloaded software to allow more sensitive DI diagnostics/tweaking (?). Cleared codes. Fuel pump pressure, flow rate, air mass meter all check OK. Light still on.
Tech now says he thinks one of injectors may be bad and wants to do injector flow test (another $200-$300). Car has been running fine through this whole ordeal (3+ weeks), until an hour after I left dealer yesterday and while accelerating I had a brief(1 sec.) interruption in power, almost like when you first run out of gas, and at about 80 MPH engine felt a little rough through the gas pedal. Any suggestions? Is the mechanic on the right track? Very frustrating! Please help... THANKS!
