A saab dealer can only have info on work done within the Saab dealer network. It does not mean that your car's prior owner might have had additional oil services done elsewhere, but my guess is that is unlikely.
Regarding your post above,I think that your expectations are a bit unrealistic since the chances of your engine having sludge are actually very small. This is mostly a problem in engines that not only had excessively long oil service intervals, but in addition, those engines were probably operated on a lot of cold start/sort trip intervals, where the oil never got hot enough to burn off the water vapor that had condensed in the oil after the last engine cycle. Like Dean said, there is NO recall. Saab has announced that they will cover a failure due to lubrication for 8 years, so you are covered. why should they be spending money dropping everyone's oil pan( meaning,not just yours)to find the needle in the haystack? If they were going to do that, then there would be no reason for the 8 year warranty.Just change your oil going forward with a high grade synthetic and do it at 5K intervals and you should have no problem.
