Maybe someone wants to kill two birds with one stone.
Do the math in the article. Take reported annual losses and divide by 130000 per year and they are loosing $1161 Euro's per vehicle. Meanwhile ponder SaabUSA doing a 7000US$ incentive package last July. But the losses had been around 3800US$ the year before. So you know a lot of folks at Saab facilities have lost their jobs. You don't reduce losses by 369,000,000 Euros in one year by cutting back on office supplies. How they went about saving over a million Euros (in losses) per day over one year is mind boggling. I don't thing that decontenting explains much at all. This is why I think luxury items like variable comrpression engine research and such are probably dead. So I expect a lot of engineering talent has been impacted. If they make it through all of this, they will be lean and mean.
