with the AW automatics so there are a lot of used transmissions out there, many a lot cheaper than $1695. Example: there's one in the Classifieds from the guy I got my engine from priced at $250. I'd be suspicious of the stated mileage on anything used unless it was in the car and I saw the odometer, especially a number like 20K. Having said that, something in me would want to wring every penny of of the warranty company that I could. I'm sure Eriksson Industries offers a fine rebuilt product for nearly the same as that used gem. If you want new, well there's only one store for that, the dealer. I doubt they offer new units either, though, but rather "factory rebuilds". But the factory could be in Mahwah NJ, not Trollhatten. That's where C900 factory rebuilds came from.
