Just use dino oil and change it 3k to 5k and no more sludge..

Best I can tell no Dino oil users of any make or model, oil changes 3k to 5k, ever had problems with sludge..

It is the sythetic oil that is responsible for the the sludge...

Synthetic can not carry the heat away from the engine parts as well as dino oil. That is why in aviation piston engines you can not use a synthetic oil. The snythetic oil can withstand higher heat but car engines need as well as airplane engines the oil to cool the parts. (Hence the external oil cooler on airplanes and saabs.) The oil carrys the heat away from the hot parts and cools it externaly..

The snythetic oil was never ment to be exposed to the combustion gases of internal recipricating combustion engine. Therefore the oil is exposed to more dirt, (carbon), and can not keep it suspended in order to get it to the filter..

Unless u change it every 3k to 5k... There is no atvantage to using synthetic oil in automobile recipricating engines.. So why buy the eexpensive stuff..

Had a 85 Saab 900 Turbo 280K wolf's head 10W-30 same engine, same turbo...

Had a 94 Saab 9000 CSE 240K wolf's head 10W-30 same engine, same turbo...

Now a 01 9-5 aero and using wolf's head 10W-30......................

Sludge free.............................
