You know the older I get I wished I would have invested in that shop and 4 post lift. Things would be much easier to stretch and get to from a standing position.
All pun asside, I am considering removing the started to get a view of the beast hide within. I have to check Alldata to see if the starter has hidden removal aspects. Looks like 2 bolts and the wiring. Then how to get it out of there may be the trick. I had a Audi 4000 one time that you had to remove the horns before finding a hole to get out the starter and that hole was a long ways away. The sender is a 24MM and a wrench fits it. I just have to be able to reach it. The next attempt will be with the long frame jack lifted high and the 6 ton extended reach jack stands to allow a big boy some wiggle room under the car.
Anyone else with advise I would appreciated and thanks Dean.
