pulling fuse # 35 will disable DLR and at night you have to switch the light manually, then on your switch, on position 1 no light on 2 low beam and on 3 low beam and high beam if selected and on this position when you you remove the key the light will go off,on position 2 the light will stay on even with the key removed (easy to forget your light on).
on my 2001 i had the dealer to reprogram the light to euro mode position 3
with fuse # 35 in, so on the light switch position 1 i have the small 5 watts light instead of the 55 watts, on position 2 the low beam and fog light if selected and on position 3 low beam or high beam and fog light if selected.
