FYI.
I was interested in the Twin Aero wheels for my 9-5 Aero and did some searches on the BB's. I found that a few others had the same question but no answers.
I found that the bolt patterns are the same (obviously) but that the 9-3 wheels had different offsets (approximately 11 mm's). It seemed acceptable but I decided to ask the technicians at the dealership, just to make sure before plunking down my money.
Take it for what it's worth but this is what the technician told me. The 9-3 wheels would fit but that it might mess up the ABS/TCS/ESP systems.
But then I thought what about the 2 piece BBS wheels which has 35mm offset. The 17x7 standard wheels has 49mm (48mm ?) offset. What about the difference? Why doesn't this affect the ABS/TCS/ESP systems? However if you factor in the 1" difference - the BBS wheels are 17x8" - then the offset difference is essentially the same.
So again, take it for what it's worth. The one 9-5 Aero that someone saw rolling around with the Twin Aero's may have no problems. But until someone posts saying that they have no problems, I would hold off on your purchase of 9-3 wheels for your 9-5.
Again, if I'm wrong please let me know since I don't want to misinform anyone.
