It went like this:
Remove the center Brake light. Careful with the small tabs on both sides of the cover. I broke one.
Pull off the two C pillar covers. They pop off.
Release the two plastic roof clips that hold up the rear of the headliner.
Remove the rear grab handles on both sides.
You can now pull down the rear of the headliner and remove the On-Star antenna and install the new one. It fits perfect but I used a little RTV to assure a good seal.
I connected the antenna power lead to the old amp power wire on the passanger side pillar.
Now run the antenna cable under the weather stripping and door sills up ahead of the front passanger seat and then under the carpet to the console.
Remove the radio and the old antenna connector. The adapter pushes onto the rear of the radio DIN chassis.
