Dealer oil changes

I have a 2003 aero wagon. I called the dealer about the kind of oil used for oil changes and he said starting 2003 Saab mandates full synthetic on all Saab 9-5's, yet i see on my service reports that my 3 oil changes so far have been 5w-30 blends. I have 15000 miles so far and my dealer is B&B Saab in Santa Clara. He also mentioned that Saab has discontinued the PCV fix. Do you think i should go back demand an oil change with full synthetic and is he correct about the PCV issue?
