Having read several postings concerning TB-problems I find a lot of info of how the TB is cleaned from oil and filth. I remember my dealers mechanic telling me there was oil filth found in the throttle house at the time they changed my turbo (Nov 4th 2004) So I get the impression that oil in some way gets in there and causes problems. I was just by the dealer this morning to show them the CEL and TCS-off as well as Cruise not working and they told me the Tech II showed problems with the TB. They suggested to put in a new one. I am leaning towards another reprogramming with the Tech II. Maybe it´s a bad decision ?
Last reprogramming was done in August last year due to CEL etc. They are not able to tell me if there is someting electrically/mechanically wrong with the TB or if it just needs reprogramming. Exchanging it is just something SAAB suggests the dealers to do they say. Greatful for any more light on this subject.
