It is a common recommendation from the old days when turbos were introduced on the Saabs (end of 70s).
Back then, the turbo unit was only lubricated (and somewhat cooled) by engine oil. In mid 80s they started to equip the turbo with cooling pipes from the engine cooling system and that made the turbo stay a lot cooler.
The rule of thumb is that if you have pushed your car to the limit and really worked the turbo unit while driving, it is a good idea to idle the car for a little while and let the engine/turbo cool down a bit before shutting it off.
If you have just driven the car in normal manners it is no problem to shut it off right away.
Your dealer is just trying to be extra catious in their recommendations.
Another recommendation is to not rev up the engine right after you have started it. It is possible to kill the bearing in the turbo unit by flooring the accelerator the same split second after the engine has fired up.
The reason for this is that it takes a couple of seconds for the engine oil pressure to build up after start and it might not be enough oil in the turbo unit to be able to take that instant rpm increase that would happen if you floor the accelerator right away.
If you let the car idle for some seconds before taking off it helps prolong the life of both turbo and engine.
