Electronic Stability Program is standard equipment now. Dunno' about the side curtain airbags. I seen a drawing of the 2006 interior and but not with enough detail to determine the airbag situation. Current 9-5's have the head (ant torso) airbags coming out of the seat.
2006 will be an MCE, mid cycle enhancement, similar to the 2002 MCE, but a little more aggessively restyled, but still the same cabin, doors, chassis and engines. The new sytling reminds me of the 9X concept with the outer holes of the three hole Saab grill theme enlarged to also contain the headlights.
