Just did mine fronts this weekend (02 Aero). One rotor came off very easily, the other was siezed on. Used a crowbar to try to pry off- not much improvement. Put a bunch of PB buster - spray on it - after ~1hr with crowbar it came off.
Cleaned the wheel off very well with scotchbrite - put some graphite on the wheel and rotor before I put it on - hope that prevents the siezing for next time.
Pulling the caliper bolts out - requires a size 20 star pattern socket. Once I got this socket the bolts came out - but required a long leverage bar.
Found they had blue (Mediun) locktite on them. Cleaned it off and reapplied the same when putting them back in.
All in all for my first time DIY brake pads and rotors it was a pain and took extra time - but now I can do it next time pretty fast.
Put EBC greenstuff pads on, did many seat in braking runs. Took them to a pretty aggressive braking from 40 to 5 hard brakeing. After they work well but seem to have an occasional squeal when gently breaking. Only 20 miles so far. They are suppose to break in after 100~200 miles and not have any squealing. We'll see.
