So I went to the indi saab place to get my headlights set to euro mode (seems simple enough) and the guy told me 1/2 hour labor so $40. Cool. Well he ranted and raved about how much trouble he was having finding the setting in the Tech II menus. He eventually switched the entire car to "Euro." Is that the only way to do it? So I got back in the car and was ready to go when I noticed my odometer was over 100k. Obviously, I had him plug the thing back in and rework the km-mile settings. THEN, I drove away and 10 minutes later, I realized my spedo was off completely. WHAT THE?? Haha, if you're still reading, I appreciate it. So I take it back, then he takes the car for about 20 minutes...joy ride in the aero? Ahh everything works. Until I got home and clicked lock on the fob and got no lights and no chirp. Is it really this hard? Is it a very unusual request to have these settings changed? It seemed as if the guy who runs the indi shop had never used that Tech II tool before. Anyway, enough complaining, I have to get back to the shop before they close. Take care.
