Fuel Pressure Regulator size and location

Is the FPR really that small? I think I found it (somewhat inverted on the right side of the fuel rail), but I wanted to make sure as it's quite a bit smaller then my 90 900T's.
Also, the nipple coming off the FPR is just a vac hose from the TB correct?
I'll be removing the RRFPR this weekend and going back to stock... previous owner didn't know that the T7 hates the RRFPR.
