It might say something like SPS programming, Trionic or software program, Trionic.
Most dealers don't do this upgrades on a regular basis but only when the customers car develop a problem and in their fault tracing chart it indicates that a software update might fix the problem.
I don't know why they are so reluctant to get the newest upgrades in there whereafter they are released.
You might check with a local Saab independant shop too, they might have the programming capabilities in the shop.
I check all the 99 and up Saabs for updates and inform the customer if I see a new software being available for their car.
The only way to check what software your car has is to read the version with the Tech 2 scanner and compare it to the list of avaialable ones for your year/model/engine.
