An interesting sidenote to this topic is whether or not you are really getting 93 octane when you pump it.
I have noticed occasionally over the past couple of years that after I fill up with "premium", there is a slight amount of pinging while accelerating with anything over half boost. This happened with my 99 LPT, and now my 00 AERO. I had a suspicion that I got something less than 93 octane gas.
Two weeks ago, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ran a 2 page story about gas stations that put extra 87 octane gas in the 93 tanks.

This is a very disturbing trend that I hope will be officially detected and taken care of very soon.
Also, how you you post clickable links?
Thanks
