if they have what you want (and their web site is pretty good) you can buy tires and wheels as a set, they will mount and balance them no extra charge, and you just have to put them on the car, and have them at your door in a day or two. I've done well with them half a dozen times.
Their tires have surveys linked to them. I just bought Fuzion ZR-1 17" tires for $94/each, and they seem good, although for me it's too soon to tell. You can go up to nearly $300. I do summer tires and winter snows and change the set. The SAAB deal on the snows is quite good, mounted and balanced on 16" alloy wheels. About $800.

Bear in mind that you are upping the ante on replacment if you break a tire or wheel or both.

If you change the revolutions/mile you will set the speedometer off. You may be able, by folling with the profile you choose, be able to come fairly close. The car's computer can be re-set to accomodate some sizes, but others will have to advise you on size limits/selection and whether the speedo can be set to your new size.
There is a site, http://www.powerdog.com, that has a claculator to compare the dimensions of any size tire, and gives % differecnes in rp/mile.
