I do not believe there is positive pressure in the intake tract, particularly below the throttle plate, at idle.
The oil trap works just like a catch can, but it has a drain to the pan built in. I doubt if an additional catch can would have much if any effect, unless you are talking about putting it in line with the small PCV line from the valve cover to the throttle body. My idea of rerouting via the oil trap would have basically the same effect (theoretically). Having a separate can for the smaller line might not have quite as smooth a transition when the system flips from pulling at the TB to pulling at the intake upstream of the turbo.
SMBC shouldn't really have much effect as I understand it. It simply brings up the turbo a little faster, so there might be a little less time spent with the PCV pulling through the small line to the throttle body, but I don't know if this would make much difference. If everything is working properly the large line from the valve cover to the intake before the turbo via the oil trap should be evacuating the fumes any time the system is under positive pressure.
