I agree with an earlier response the o4 is much cooler. About a year ago I was looking for an 02 aero wagon. Nothing found in over 6 months of searching, then found an 04 aero wagon 5 sp as a demo at the dealer. They offered me a more than fair price on my trade-in (1999- 95, 5 sp with 175,000 km) I included alloy rims (after market), snows, roof rack, ski rack and two bike racks with my trade on the condition they replace all of them with new accessories to fit the wagon. They did this with no problem + cargo mat and cargo nets. In the fall I got SAAB 10 spoke rims and snows at cost from the dealer (still part of this deal). My trade in was sold within a week because it was a great looking car with lots of accessories. There is more to negotiate than just price. Driving SAAB since '82, this 04 aero wagon 5 sp is by far the best one I've owned. Three SAAB's still active in our family.
