Engine Flush ( Long)

With all the sludge issues, does anyone have any comments on using the Bilstein Engine Flush? I have seen it work and thought about using it for my TR6 before I decided to rebuild. I have a 2000 9-5 with 75K. I only went over 5 k on one change ( 7500 ) but the dealer used Semi-syn till now ( since I told him to switch based on the SAAB letter) I was thinking about having the engine flushed but saw all the comments that the Sludge may beholding the engine together ( that's my interpretation to the engine cleaner no engine cleaner debate)
BTW I used STP on my 86 Saab with 86 K that I bought form a little old man who never went on the highway , drove 7K/yr and did 7500 between oil changes ( religously) because the engine looked gunked up. 6 Mo later it developed a rod knock, that I eliminated with Marvel Mystery before I traded for a '97 NG, so I know first hand about the leave the gunk alone theory.
Any comments/experience/theories?
