on the connector. Look at the connector from the front of the car, see one side of the small side of the connector has two prongs judding out ?
Push (if tight, use something to tap gently) the prongs back into the connector so they are flush with the side of the connector. At the same time, you would see the other end comes away from the connector. Pull on the other side that comes out and at the same time, pull the connector AWAY from the DI. The connector and locking mechanism stay as one piece so don't pull or pry the locking thingy of the connector or you will be buying a new one.
My description sounds more complicated that it really is but once the connector start to come loose, you would know what to do. Putting it back is just the reverse, put the connector back, push it toward the DI and at the same time, push down on the side that came up and that would lock the connector in place.
