Am having the same problem with my 01 95 LPT. On a few startups the car produced a cloud of blue smoke that was quite large. The rest of the time the smoke is still blue when I start it up but the cloud isn't as big. Performance hasn't changed. I have a feeling the turbo is going which is unfortunate after only 39,000 mi. I'm moving at the end of the week and the car needs to make a 400 mile trip. I'm trying to keep driving to a minimum until then. If the turbo fails in transit the car will enter limp home mode as I understand it. If this happened in a worst case scenario, as long as it has enough oil in it I should be able to make it for another 100 or so miles right? The good news is that the car is still on warranty until august. I'm going to arrange an appointment at the local saab dealer at my new location tomorrow so that I can get it looked at as soon as I get there. I hope i'm not crazy but i'm in a tight spot.
